In 2006, after meeting Dio as frontman for some recordings of a box set from the Black Sabbath years, things went so well that a new band was formed. It was named after the ninth Sabbath album – the first on which Ronny James Dio sang. In 2007 a world tour followed and in 2009 a new studio album with the appropriate title "The Devil You Know".
