Santana were world famous at this point, thanks to their legendary 1969 Woodstock performance. Bandleader and guitarist Carlos Santana expanded the rock repertoire with his Latin sound and set new standards in terms of virtuosity with his bandmates, including drummer prodigy Michael Shrieve.
